Play is training for the unexpected.

Play is very important for children. Through play, they explore and absorb to understand the world around them as they come to interact, discover, and create. When children play, they are showing what they have learned. This is why play is one of the foundations of all child care centre Karana. There will be times when children come together as a group, listen when others are talking, follow the rules of group living and begin to take responsibility for their actions and their surroundings. The educators evaluate children’s play to determine what it is children are learning and to then help figure out and shape this learning.

The primary function of a daycare center is to provide a safe and secure environment with quality caregivers who service the range of activities and programs to an enrolled child, including personal care, supervision, education, guidance, and transportation, especially so that parents have the peace of mind of knowing their children are safe while they work.

Some children settle happily in their new childcare setting within a few days or weeks. Others get upset or cry. And some children settle at first and then get upset later, often when the novelty of the new environment has worn off. We must provide our children with time for both structured and unstructured play. This is how gross motor skills, fine motor skills, social and emotional skills, and life skills develop from a young age.

Eksay Kids welcomes the vision of childhood you have in your heart for your child. The child care centre Karana assures parents and guardians that their children will be in a safe and healthy environment where staff will strive to meet all their needs.

Research shows that high-quality child care centre Karana can have long-term benefits for children, including increased cognitive abilities and improved language development. High-quality childcare gives children the chance to build on their emotional development, as the nurture provided in care helps create trusting relationships with people in the community, outside of a child's immediate family, as well as with their peers.

Childhood is such a short, magical time, and in a fleeting moment, they will be grown up. Socialization and play in early childhood have been associated with higher levels of empathy, resilience, and prosocial behavior later in life.

Eskay Kids is a place where “Belonging, Being, becoming” moves beyond words, into the culture in which we live. Creating rich learning opportunities through the environment, enables children to explore and discover, bring out their imaginations, build relationships, and help and learn from one another. It is their aim for people to feel like they are a part of their family the moment they walk in the door because building relationships is one of the most important aspects of what Eskay Kids does, creating an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming for children, their families, and visitors; a place where children feel loved, safe, and secure away from their families.  And it is located at 36-38 College Road, Karana Downs QLD 4306
